There are not only fans of Borussia Dortmund in and around Dortmund - also in the district of Erding.

District – “Erding is black and yellow.” Three supporters of Borussia Dortmund from the district of Erding agree.

Marcus Schellhase (39) from St. Wolfgang knows that many fans of TSV 1860 Munich sympathize with the black and yellow Westphalia.

"In addition, there are numerous pure BVB supporters in our district," such as he is.

Even if the situation at Borussia is currently difficult and the performance is not constant, Schellhase, Dennis Viktor (31) from Erding and Jan Klos (28) from Hallbergmoos are confident that they will soon be able to celebrate a BVB championship again.

Until then, the Borussia fans can indulge in their memories. What was the best BVB experience?

You don't have to think twice about it: That was the 5-2 victory in the 2012 DFB Cup final in Berlin against FC Bayern Munich.

As a reminder, in addition to Shinji Kagawa and Mats Hummels, who scored a penalty against Manuel Neuer, Robert Lewandowski, who was wearing the black and yellow jersey at the time, also scored a hat-trick.

Arjen Robben scored a penalty for Bayern to make it 1-1 and Franck Ribery to make it 4-2.

Marcus Schellhase has been to a BVB game at Signal Iduna Park 15 times so far.

While Viktor followed the game at a public viewing with well over 10,000 spectators at the Waldbühne in Berlin, Klos sat in the stadium.

"I felt in Berlin like in Dortmund, everything was black and yellow," recalls the 28-year-old, beaming all over his face.

The Borussia Dortmund team is also supported on site by the fans from Erding.

"It's always mega, also for other fans," is how Schellhase describes his 15 trips to the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, the former Westfalenstadion.

"The most beautiful stadium in the world", the trio of fans agree.

Viktor also describes his visits there as “unforgettable”.

Klos, on the other hand, can no longer count all his visits to the stadium in Dortmund.

The former FC Moosinning goalkeeper grew up in Holzwickede and thus in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.

Today, all three men are more than 600 kilometers from the stadium in the football city.

As soon as a full capacity of 81,000 spectators is possible again, they will certainly follow a game live in the stadium again.

Dennis Viktor has made his way to the stadium countless times.

Schellhase, Viktor and Klos have different sympathies for the club's players.

While Viktor always thought Lars Ricken was great and can now be enthusiastic about Raphaël Guerreiro, Schellhase is convinced of Neven Subotic and Mats Hummels.

Klos remains true to his childhood hero: Alex Frei.

Above all, the three agree on the question of whether they would rather have a beer with a Schalke player or a Munich player.

"Of course with the Munich" (Viktor), "Without thinking twice, definitely with the Munich" (Schellhase) and "Of course, of course with the Munich" (Klos) are the spontaneous reactions.

As open and tolerant as the Dortmund fans are, the fun stops at Schalke.
