Summary: Peterborough - Manchester City 2: 0 (Sport 1)
Mario Balotelli will always be remembered as the bad boy of world football, but even at the age of 31, with a shaky career that brought him to Demirspur from the Turkish league, he is still convinced: I could have been at the level of Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
In an interview with Athletic, the recalcitrant striker claimed: "I missed some opportunities to reach that level, of some of the best players in history. But I'm still 100 percent sure that in terms of quality, in terms of net football, I do not fall short of Messi and Ronaldo. I'm about their level, "I did not take advantage of the opportunity I had. It can happen to anyone."
According to Balotelli, "No one can now compare himself to the achievements of both of them. They have won the Golden Ball so many times, and no one comes close to it. But if we're just talking about football, I have nothing to envy them."

Balotelli admits from years away that the biggest mistake he made was to leave Manchester City in 2013. "It was definitely a huge mistake. After I left I had a very good year and a half in Milan, but then the problems started. From my early years, I understand I should not have left. I've seen City improve over all these years. It's progressing, and I'm going backwards. I regret it, because I could have become a symbol like Sergio Aguero. I am convinced of that. "
The 31-year-old Balotelli has migrated from team to team in recent years, and has continued to get embroiled in disciplinary offenses for the most part.
Since leaving City in 2013 he has replaced no less than seven clubs: AC Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Marseille, Brescia, Monza and now Demirespor, where he stands on a balance of 10 league goals.
