Is Chelsea on the verge of an earthquake?
If you ask Matt Lowe, the Telegraph reporter, it's only a matter of time before the owner of the last 19 years, Roman Abramovich, gets an offer to buy the group and agrees to sell it.
According to a report in the British newspaper, the oligarch entered a dead end and was pushed against the wall by British authorities threatening to impose economic sanctions on him due to his ties with the Russian authorities and especially with President Vladimir Putin.
Lowe claims that despite the transfer of the team to a mutual fund and a promise from Abramovich that he does not intend to sell the Blues, he will consider offers this week that will be presented to him by no less than three groups of buyers.

The Russian-Israeli owner of Chelsea has also reportedly put up for sale his huge estate in Kensington, London, a thick hint that he is about to end any contact with the British kingdom.
Currently the buyer groups are waiting for the weekend to make sure there are no sanctions that will be applied to the group as well, to promote its purchase.
Chelsea owe their owners an amount in excess of a billion pounds, so the price of the team may rise.
