For the coming season, FC Bayern will probably need a new substitute behind Manuel Neuer.
A Bundesliga keeper is therefore apparently back in the focus of Munich.
Munich – Captain Manuel Neuer has been missing from FC Bayern* for almost a month, after his meniscus operation, the 35-year-old recently started training again.
In the meantime, the national goalkeeper was replaced by Sven Ulreich*, who had already proven to be a reliable support for Munich between 2015 and 2020.
However, the replacement keeper's contract only runs until the summer, which is why Bayern are apparently looking for alternatives.

According to a report, the record champions are now eyeing the goalkeeper of a Bundesliga competitor again.

wrote on Wednesday, Bayern should continue to show interest in Bielefeld goalkeeper Stefan Ortega Moreno.
The 29-year-old was already under discussion as number two at FCB last summer, but the German-Spaniard decided to continue his season as a regular keeper* at his youth club Arminia Bielefeld*.
Bayern would have had to pay a fee last summer, and the Calden native's contract will end at the end of June this year.
In the next transfer period, the former goalkeeper of city rivals TSV 1860 Munich * could switch to the series champion free of charge.

In Bielefeld, Ortega Moreno has been one of the top performers since his return from TSV 1860 and was one of the heroes of promotion.
So it's no wonder that the East Westphalia club management would like to extend his contract with him.
The first publicly known offer from the club was made last weekend.

He can come to my office tomorrow and sign the contract," Arminia sports director Samir Arabi told Sky on Saturday.

, Bielefeld should offer its goalkeeper a contract for four more years.
Now Ortega Moreno has to decide between the two Bundesliga clubs.
At Bayern he would have to place himself clearly behind Manuel Neuer *, given Alexander Nübel's loan until 2023 * and Sven Ulreich's expiring contract, Ortega would at least be planned as a second goalkeeper.
In Bielefeld, on the other hand, he is set, having already played 210 competitive games for Arminia.
