The most intriguing connection in recent years in Israeli sports is underway.
Sylvan Adams, the Jewish philanthropist who practically owns the Israeli bicycle industry, arrived today (Thursday) for a meeting with the chairman of the Israeli Olympic Committee, Yael Arad.
The purpose of the meeting between the two sides is to straighten things out in the face of the two's struggle for the chairmanship of the Olympic Committee, a struggle from which Adams withdrew early and transferred his support to Moshe Ponti, chairman of the Israeli Judo Association, considered Yael Arad's rival.
The two are currently meeting at Arad's offices in Tel Aviv and the expectation is that Adams will increase his support not only in the field of bicycles but also in other Olympic disciplines, which could completely change the Olympic sports picture in Israel.

The meeting was also attended by Daphne Lang, the next chairwoman of the Bicycle Association, who will take office at the end of the month. The month of contact between the parties and Adams will be in the Israeli championship that will last three days.
