Maccabi Haifa president Yaakov Shachar, his deputy Uzi Moore and the club's general manager Assaf Ben Dov are now in Dubai to meet with the heads of the Al Ein group from the United Arab Emirates as part of the signing of the cooperation agreement between the clubs more than a year ago.
In recent months, the team leaders have kept in touch with the aim of also holding the friendly matches between the clubs and will now try to mature the issue.
In January 2021 they had already tried to hold a friendly match but the issue did not materialize due to the corona and other matters.
Beyond that, the Green Club does not rule out attempts at business collaborations during their stay in Dubai, although at this stage there is nothing concrete.
If there is one and in the amounts that Shahar is interested in ($ 4-5 million), Haifa does not rule out the possibility.
As part of the round of meetings of the Greens in Dubai, there will also be a meeting with the representatives of Crown Prince Muhammad bin Zayed, and perhaps together with his business it will be possible to make the business collaboration.
