FC SF Schwaig starts the spring round in the Landesliga Süd-Ost this Friday evening.

TSV Ampfing will be the host at 7.30 p.m. in its Raiffeisen Sportpark.

Schwaig – The test match results are now obsolete, whether they were great or not.

"They did fit," says Ampfing's coach Rainer Elfinger (55), "even though we were shown off by the Munich Lions second at 0:5".

That was the third of seven games, all others were won.

Among them was a 1-0 in Pullach, also a Bayern league team like the young lions.

Ampfing's coach Elfinger declares war: "It's difficult to get something from us"

The first meeting in Schwaig took place on the sixth day of the first half of the season.

After a furious final, the promoted team won that 2-1 with two goals in the last ten minutes.

It was the last Ampfinger game without coach Elfinger.

Heiko Baumgärtner threw in the towel after the 1:5 in Aiglsbach.

His immediately committed successor, who had given up a few weeks earlier at league rivals Traunstein after a 0:3 defeat in Ampfing, was on vacation.

The Schweppermanns had three points up to that point.

Now, on the other hand, TSV is “Elfinger-Zeit”, they have 26 points, are in tenth place with a three-point lead over rank 14, the first of three relegation ranks.

Ampfing scored 22 of his 26 points in his venerable 8,000-seat stadium and is fourth in the home table.

"It's difficult to get something from us," emphasizes Elfinger, who has coached Heimstetten and Ismaning in the regional and Bavarian leagues and FC Erding in the district league.

The 55-year-old TSV coach knows the Schwaiger player-coach Ben Held very well and also had "best regards" ready for him on the phone.

FC Schwaig decimated in preparation by Corona and injuries

Held expects "a fighting game with not the best ground conditions depending on the season".

He didn't see his team's friendly results too positively.

"But it wasn't surprising, we only had nine men from the regular squad at times," he explains, "but these results weren't that great for us even before the season started."

Corona diseases in winter with after-effects and injuries caused big problems for FC Schwaig.

"On Tuesday, almost everyone trained for the first time and apart from Daniel Stich, Maxi Buchauer and Marvin Potoku, everyone should be in the squad," says Held.

"On paper we can make an impression again," proves the trainer with gallows humor - and admits: "If I'm honest, I would sign a point immediately." (Helmut Findelsberger)

Empl, Fichtlscherer, Jell, Neumann, Fink, Hellinger, M. Hones, J. Hornof, Khuriya, Maier, Roth, Simak, Straßer, Wölken, Ascher, Held, L. Hones, Sommer.
