Shortly afterwards, Gorbanko qualified, for her first competition since enlisting in the IDF, also for the 100-meter backstroke final from third place, with a result of 1: 00.95 minutes.
In the 50 breaststroke for men, Chris Pitchugin qualified for the final from fourth place, with 28.20 seconds.
Meron Heruti qualified for the 50 freestyle final from seventh place with 23.08 seconds.
In the men's 100 backstroke, David Grechik (56.62 seconds) and Yaakov Tomarkin (56.70 seconds) advanced to the second final from 11th and 13th places, respectively.
