Rostock cheers on Schalke

Schalke 04 suffered a bitter defeat on the 25th matchday of the 2nd Bundesliga.
Although top scorer Simon Terodde scored three times, Schalke lost 3:4 (2:2) against Hansa Rostock.
FC St. Pauli, on the other hand, won the battle for promotion places 3-1 (3-0) against Karlsruher SC.
SV Sandhausen also won 3-1 (2-1) against Hannover 96.
Terodde remains the goal guarantor at Schalke - but could not prevent the bitter home defeat against Hansa Rostock either.
The center forward scored three more goals this season, and the 34-year-old increased his tally to 19. Terodde headed in for the miners in the 33rd, 43rd and 83rd minutes.
Svante Ingelsson (25th), John Verhoek (40th), Pascal Breier (56th) and Nils Fröling (90th + 5th) put the Mecklenburgers in the lead four times.
Due to the defeat, Schalke lost three points again and are gradually losing touch with the promotion ranks.
FC Hansa left relegation rank 16 and improved to position 14.
