Dortmund/Munich
– bankruptcies, bad luck and breakdowns.
If the hackneyed phrase had to be reinvented for a club, it would undoubtedly be Türkgücü Munich this season.
After filing for bankruptcy and the resulting point deduction, the third division team is in last place in the table.
It is already twelve points behind the saving bank.
Whether the season can even be played to the end is a completely different matter.
A deregistration from the game in April is becoming more and more likely.
Recently, the Munich website was no longer online.
Türkgücü Munich: defiant reaction against Dortmund?
Andreas Heraf's team showed a convincing first half against 1. FC Saarbrücken in the Olympic Stadium on Monday and still went 5-1 in the end.
"You've got shit on your feet, you've got shit on your feet," Heraf recognized shortly after taking office in January.
The Austrian doesn't want to blame his team at all.
The concerns about the unclear future are too great for the players and their families.
Nevertheless, no signs of dissolution have been identified so far.
The morale in the team still seems to be right.
It was not for nothing that the TSV 1860 was deservedly defeated in the city duel.
Can Türkgücü pull off a similar performance in Borussia Dortmund's reserves?
The season is as good as over for the hosts: the gap to the back and front is too big.
We report from 1.30 p.m. in the live ticker.
