– The small Bavarians are finally starting into the year 2022. It should have been so far last week.

But the game at FC Pipinsried was canceled at short notice.

The place was unplayable.

In the second attempt, it should now work in the Grünwalder Stadion against SV Schalding-Heining with the first competitive game of the new year.

Martín Demichelis' team is under a lot of pressure right away.

Leaders Bayreuth have already played three games in the new year and are now 13 points ahead, but have played two games more.

Yesterday the 'Oldschdod' defeated SC Eltersdorf 3-0 away.

So if the little Bavarians still want to have a say, they need a threesome against Schalding-Heining.

The preparation went like clockwork for the amateurs.

Five out of six games were won.

Last Saturday, the Czech fourth division team Dynamo Budweis II was thrashed 8-1.

The squad of Demichelis-Elf was mixed up during the winter break.

Among others, two of the top three scorers, Nemanja Motika and Oliver Batista-Meier, left FC Bayern.

Will the small Bavarians succeed in replacing the top performers on an equal footing and start the race to catch up?
