The Bayern defense has been shaky at times this season, and now the right side needs to be polished.

One of three top candidates should therefore switch to Munich.

Munich – The first season of FC Bayern* under Julian Nagelsmann* is coming to an end.

While most of the regular players have continued to show consistently good performances, there are also a few players on the list for the summer.

In the coming transfer period, Munich wants to part with some players, including backup right-back Bouna Sarr*.

Josip Stanisic*, who is also at home on the right defensive position, could also be loaned out soon.

In order for the squad level not to drop, a corresponding defender would have to be committed for the right wing.

In the past few weeks and months, the Bayern bosses have been looking for a new full-back, with three top candidates in particular being up for debate.

FC Bayern: National players are still an issue in Munich – commitment could be difficult

The principle of Bayern commitments is often the same.

The top club always tries to sign the best German national players.

For some time now, Wolfsburg-based Ridle Baku has been showing strong performances, even if his team is going through another crisis year this season.

The U21 European champion made his debut under Jogi Löw in the national team*, and he has also made three appearances under Hansi Flick.

Baku is one of the strongest players in the league, with the 23-year-old putting on more than a thousand sprints last season, more than any other top-flight professional.

In addition, he always exudes a goal threat, in 66 competitive games for VfL Wolfsburg the fine technician has already scored 21 points.

In Wolfsburg, Baku, who Bayern have been watching for some time, is under contract until 2025.

Jeremie Frimpong also plays in the Bundesliga.

The Leverkusen right-back came to Germany from Celtic Glasgow for eleven million euros in January last year. He was trained at Manchester City's youth academy.

Similar to Baku, Frimpong's speed and dribbling skills are attested, but the Leverkusen player may be a little more technically adept in comparison.

The Dutch U21 international is a regular at Bayer 04* and has already attracted attention with ten points in 21 competitive games this season.

Again, the contract period does not exactly suit Bayern, until 2025 the working paper of the native of Amsterdam is valid.

It is questionable whether one would give up a regular player with Dest and probably also depends on the transfer fee offered.
