A long message on the official website of Castres Olympique.
In which Pierre-Yves Revol, the president of the Tarn club, does not mince his words and does not hide his anger after the behavior of some of his supporters on Saturday during the reception of Montpellier.
A bonus victory 25-9, on behalf of the 20th day of Top 14, but after having evolved more than a half-time at 14 against 15 following the red card (logical) addressed to the Fijian center of the CO, Vilimoni Botitu, by the match referee, Tual Trainini.

"
We had a great day on Saturday at the Pierre-Fabre stadium, a heroic match for our Olympians, who were reduced to 14 at the end of the first half, carried by a great atmosphere
," recalls President Revol.
Before becoming less warm, evoking a “
big downside
”: “
the attitude of certain members of the Castres public who, at the end of the match, did not respect some of the essential values of rugby: conviviality and respect due to the actors including the referees.

"
Insults that we hear in football stadiums and that I don't want
"
And to continue: “
the intolerable remarks made by certain supporters on Saturday at the end of the meeting which harm the image of the club and give a catastrophic example to the many young supporters present at the stadium.
These insults are unacceptable.
Fans have the right to disagree, to show their disapproval even loudly and you can hear it in most stadiums.
But there are limits and they have been exceeded.
The insults heard last Saturday are the ones you hear in some football stadiums and I don't want that.
Ok, to chamber, it can be part of the game, but not okay to vulgarly insult the referee.
»
The CO boss then becomes more threatening.
“
If other facts of this type were to be repeated, the club will take firm measures with regard to these people.
(…) If we let that happen, soon, we will come to insulting the players.
I think the vast majority of our audience understands this position and I will be tough in the future with those who don't.
If a minority wants to mislead the spirit and values of rugby, the club will not let them.
I had never heard that in our stadium.
And I never want to hear it again.
“In the last moments of the meeting, the Castres announcer issued a warning to ask the supporters of the Blue and White to “
respect the referee
”.
