Salihamidzic had previously made it clear that he would not be sold under any circumstances.

Matthäus called the contract theater around Lewandowski "pushing around" that caused "unrest in the dressing room".

The former Bayern captain would like “more emotion and more clear answers” ​​from the bosses. Also with regard to the leading players Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller, whose contracts also expire in the summer of 2023.

"I don't know in which direction Oliver Kahn wants to go further.

But the negotiations with these three players show that something has changed.
