Real Madrid's French striker Karim Benzema won the player award for the first week of the second leg of the 16th round of the Champions League this season.
And statistics network Opta reported that Benzema won the Player of the Week award after playing the championship role when he scored three goals to lead Real Madrid to the quarter-finals after their 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
At 34 years and 80 days old, Benzema became the oldest player to score a hat-trick in the Champions League.
