Summary: Barcelona - Real Madrid 59:64 (Sport1)
As part of the 29th round, two Euroleague games were played tonight (Friday), and they ended in quite surprising results.
In the last ranked early game Zalgiris defeated at the home the leader Barcelona and ex Sharonas Jasikevicius with a result of 84:91.
An hour later, in a battle for a place at the crossroads, Monaco crushed the factory owner Anadolu Efes with a result of 80: 102, a result that to some extent complicates Maccabi Tel Aviv in the battle for one of the first eight places at the end of the regular season.

Zalgiris Kaunas - Barcelona 84:91
After opening a gap of two victories at the top of the table, the leader stumbled in Lithuania and lost the streak of five victories.
Jasikevicius played for Zalgiris and is also known to have coached her for four years until he moved to Barcelona, but also the fact that he knows the place and the team well, also a balance of 5:25 in all previous meetings between the teams and even the fact that Zelgiris is in last place. Did not have time for Barcelona to win.
The Catalans still dominated the game in the first half and Zalgiris scored only 9 points in the first quarter, but towards the end of the second quarter the locals came back and forced a 35 draw in the half.
Sharas' team returned to a seven-point lead after 30 minutes, but the big surprise came in the final quarter where Zalgiris won 21:35, a tremendous offensive quarter that was enough for them to win.
Lucas to Cevicius with 22 points led the Zelgiris scoring and also Joffre Lubren stood out with 18, and that was enough against 26 points by Nikola Mirotic and 16 by Nicholas Pervitola.

Monaco - Anadolu Zero 80: 102
It was supposed to be a particularly intriguing encounter between the Eurocup champion and the Euroleague champion and one that could significantly affect the crossover picture assuming the Russian teams are eliminated once and for all.
What was particularly surprising was that Monaco's advantage grew as the minutes ticked by and it ended in a crushing local victory, with on the show of course winner Mike James, who managed to avenge the Turks for the loss in the previous encounter.
James shelled out 27 points in 29 minutes and also handed out 6 assists, with Alpha Dialo contributing 19 points of his own.
On the other hand, Vasilya Mitchic scored 25 points and also delivered 8 assists, but Shane Larkin missed all five shots he took and finished with 0 points!
