Silver medal for the Israeli team at the World Acrobatics Championships Israel today

The Israeli national team quartet, which includes Amir Daws, Lior Bourdin, Tomer Ofir and Chen Benoz, received a great score of 27.9 points in the final of the dynamic exercise.


A great achievement for the Israeli quartet, which today (Sunday) won the silver medal in the final of the dynamic exercise, at the World Acrobatics Championships, held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

A bronze medal also for a trio in the same exercise. 

The team that includes Amir Dawes, Lior Bordin, Tomer Ofir and Chen Benoz won a great score of 27.9 points, while the UK team with 28.690 points finished with the gold medal and the Belgians took third place on the podium, after receiving 27.890 points.  

Yesterday, this quartet also won a bronze in the final of the balance exercise and on Friday, Arad also added in the final of the combined exercise.

The quartet is coached by Amir Mozes.  

The Israeli trio, which includes Yarin Ovadia, Inbal Zeituni and Meshi Horowitz, received a score of 28.1 points in the dynamic exercise and won a bronze medal, while the Belgian trio climbed first on the podium with 29.130 points and the Portuguese were ranked second with 28.210 points.

The mixed pair Maron Weissman and Adi Horowitz, were ranked in the balance final in fifth place with 27,820 points.

In doing so, Israel won the championship, with four medals in total (one silver and three bronze).

As you may recall, the next championship in 2024 will take place here in Israel, with the host city expected to be Holon.
