With the turmoil of Marco Belbul and Daniel Peretz still hovering, the Israeli team is trying to focus on the pair of friendly matches in the upcoming national team window - against Germany next Saturday and against Romania three days later.
After Yossi Benyon fired Confusion, it was decided that Alon Harazi and Gadi Bromer would manage the duo.
These are the team's last two games before the start of the League of Nations campaign for Euro 2024.
Tonight (Thursday) the squad for the games was announced, which includes for the first time Sean Goldberg, Ramzi Spori, Dean David and Thai Baribo.
Eran Zehavi was left out of the squad after coordination with him and PSV Eindhoven, as Benyon explained earlier today, and neither Sean Weissman, Omar Atzili and Hatem Abdelhamid were called up.
Omri Glazer was called up as the third goalkeeper, four and a half years after his only appearance (in a 1-0 home loss to Northern Macedonia).
The squad has a total of nine legionnaires, five representatives from Maccabi Haifa, five from Maccabi Tel Aviv and three from Hapoel Beer Sheva.
Betar Jerusalem has two representatives and Maccabi Netanya one.
