Denklingen and the special memories of the BCF

The 4:1 against Wolfratshausen was a special victory for VfL Denklingen in the first half of the season.

Now it's time for the second leg - and coach Ansorge focuses on a special part of the team.

Denklingen – Markus Ansorge would like to reminisce.

In the first half of the season, the coach of VfL Denklingen experienced a great moment with his team against BCF Wolfratshausen.

The promoted team beat the former Bavarian league team 4-1.

"Unfortunately that's in the past again," the coach admits today.

However, the victory had a landmark meaning that extends to the present day.

With the success over the BCF, the newcomer became aware that the goals cannot be big enough, even for an outsider.

When the two opponents meet again this Sunday (4:30 p.m.) in the Isar-Loisach Stadium, the 4-1 win from last August will still resonate.

The club for physical exercise is the leader of the district league south, Wolfratshausen third in the classification.

Denklingen have four more points on the credit side, despite having played two games fewer.

Another victory in the top duel would not only further increase the self-confidence of the industry leader, it would also have gotten rid of one of its pursuers.

"They have a lot of respect for us," Ansorge knows that the momentum before the game is on the side of his eleven.

In the first leg Denklingen won against BCF 4:1

For this, the trainer does not have to go far back into the past.

For the resumption of the season, the table leader set an example and swept SC Pöcking-Possenhofen 5:1 from the field.

"I rate the victory as high quality," says the coach of a sporting exclamation point.

"We showed the competition: Denklingen is still there." However, the BCF also made people sit up and take notice with a win in the derby in Berg.

"It's not easy to play there," Ansorge knows from his own painful experience.

Winning the team from the eastern shore of Lake Starnberg is even more difficult.

Wolfratshausen made it 1-0 thanks to a second-half goal from Kayra Arikan.

Adrian Anisits is injured and is missing in Wolfratshausen.

The Denklinger's attention isn't just focused on the goal scorer.

Wolfratshausen has an excellent ensemble of former Bayernliga players.

The main focus is on Mustafa Kantar and Jona Lehr, who have each scored seven goals this season.

"It will be crucial that we are in the right position defensively," the coach expects his defense to confirm its reputation as the most compact defense in the league.

The Denklinger have qualities on the offensive anyway.

Their leaders are Simon Ried, who has 20 goals alone, and Dominik Karg (10).

The same applies to them as to Kantar and Lehr.

When they come into play, problems await the opponent.

Ansorge can draw on almost his entire squad.

Only the ailing Tobias Schelkle and Adrian Anisits are out.

Otherwise, he has 19 kickers who want to continue what they started last weekend: give the league the feeling that they are far from satisfied with the successes of the past.
