The Racing Club de Lens is embarking on a magnificent initiative in support of Ukraine.
Indeed, the Sang et Or receive Clermont, Saturday afternoon as part of the 29th day of Ligue 1, and on this occasion, the Lensois players will adorn themselves in yellow and blue, in the colors of Ukraine.
A blue jersey and yellow shorts will be worn instead of the traditional club colors.
“If this approach is apolitical, the club intends to disseminate and thus hammer home a message of peace”, can we read in a press release.

In addition, the Félix-Bollaert stadium will also be dressed in the same colors for Saturday's match.
As for the players, beyond wearing a jersey in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, the flocking will see the word “Peace” written in different languages.
“Racing aims to proclaim a visceral attachment to tolerance, solidarity and peace”, details the northern club.
The jerseys worn by the ninth in Ligue 1 will then be marketed, from Monday March 21.
Available both on a digital platform and at Auchan, the club's main sponsor, they will be used to raise funds.
These will then be donated to finance the solidarity convoy of basic necessities to Ukraine, coordinated by the municipality of Avion.
An action to be welcomed when the Félix-Bollaert stadium should be sold out, in an important meeting for the race for European places.
