The bat that hit the ground in the petition flew straight in the direction of the same young ball carrier, who managed at the last minute to dodge a direct hit.
At the end of the game Kirius was asked about this by the reporters on the spot and attacked: "What do you think I have to say about this? Do you think I meant that this would happen? Absolutely not. I just flew the bat and you see it was not really in the direction of that boy. Mine and suddenly flew in his direction and almost hit him, but I'm a human and it could happen. As a reminder, Sasha Zebrav was severely punished last month after striking threateningly twice in the referee's chair at the Acapulco tournament and Kirius argued in his defense that the cases were not similar at all: "It's really far from what Zebrav was.
