The event: the EcoTrail Paris Ile de France
ATHLETICS.
Trail enthusiasts have checked this Saturday for several weeks on their agenda.
Among the many events run during the year, the EcoTrail Paris Ile de France is positioned as one of the most advanced in respect of the principles of eco-responsibility and sustainable development, using the natural paths that still make up urban areas and make participants aware of the presence of a preserved natural environment.
Since 2012, it has been available in Brussels, Oslo, Madrid, Stockholm, Reykjavik, among others, as well as in Malaysia, Thailand, and more recently in Saudi Arabia.

Several distances are on the program from 10 to 80 km, the flagship event.
Since 2008, the latter has been the absolute challenge for all the brave, with a rather rolling course, an invitation to discover atypical places in the west of the Ile-de-France region, and finally an arrival on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower.
The start will be given from the Ile de Loisirs of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, then the runners will have to pass through VĂ©lizy, Meudon, and Boulogne-Billancourt before entering the capital from the South-West.
The poster: the 6th match of the Cergy-Amiens series
ICE HOCKEY.
This is the epilogue of this first series hung between the Jokers of Cergy-Pontoise (4th in the regular season) and the Gothics of Amiens (5th).
After winning the first two rounds in Val-d'Oise last weekend, the Jokers managed to glean one of three meetings in Picardy this week.
It was Wednesday evening during a 5th match at the end of the suspense (3-4 ap).

The men of Jonathan Paredes must now win one of the last two meetings at Aren'Ice to validate a historic ticket for the semi-finals of the playoffs for the title of champion of France.
The 6th match takes place this Saturday evening (8:30 p.m.).
In the event of a setback, Cergy-Pontoise would have a last chance the following afternoon (6 p.m.).
The winner of this confrontation will face Grenoble (1st in the regular season) in the semi-finals if Rouen wins against Gap in the last quarter-final.
In the event of victory for the Hautes-Alpes team, Cergy or Amiens would then meet Angers.
Top tip: the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais Ephémère
HORSE RIDING.
After two editions canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Saut Hermès resumes its rights but moves from the Grand Palais (currently under renovation) to the Grand Palais Ephémère, on the Champ de Mars.
Created in 2009, this show jumping competition brings together the best riders in the world.
The 2022 edition does not betray the previous ones with, for the main event of the CSI 5* on Sunday (3:30 p.m.), the first three in the current world ranking, the Swedes Peder Fredricson and Henrik von Eckermann and the Swiss Martin Fuchs, as well as the German Daniel Deusser (n°5).

On the French side, we will find with great pleasure the three team Olympic champion riders in 2016 Roger-Yves Bost, Philippe Rozier and KĂ©vin Staut, and also Simon Delestre, with a strong tricolor delegation of 16 representatives.
The other competitions started on Friday and will continue until the closing ceremony on Sunday (11 p.m.).

BASKETBALL.
Like the number of tickets already sold this Friday noon by Paris Basketball for its event match on Sunday at the Accor Arena in Paris, for the reception of Monaco during the 23rd day of Betclic Elite.
For its return to the big performance hall – after a first outing in January 2020 when the team was in Pro B – the club has planned things big.

Initially configured for a capacity of 6,864 seats, the Accor Arena, faced with strong demand, decided to open its “balcony” stands and increased its capacity to 8,041 seats.
It is therefore on track to be complete on match day.
At the break, a show with a mini-concert by Ronisia – whose songs have been viewed several million times on social networks – will be offered to spectators.
Broadcast on France 3 Ile-de-France, the match will be commented on by international Diandra Tchatchouang at the request of the club.
The place to go: the Poterne climbing gym in Massy
ESCALATION.
ES Massy Escalade is organizing the French speed championships this Saturday and Sunday, back after a three-year absence.
This very spectacular discipline, which combines agility and speed, was one of the attractions of the last Games.
In Tokyo, Bassa Mawem distinguished himself, despite an injury that deprived him of the final, by setting the very first Olympic speed climbing record with a supersonic time: 5.45 seconds.
The New Caledonian will try in Essonne to keep his national title already acquired in Massy in 2019.
🚀 5.45.

The discovery: the semi-contact French championships
KARATE.
PSG handball players (apart from those in national teams) are taking a break this weekend, but not Coubertin, their stronghold.
For two days, a national full-contact karate competition, the "semi-contact", will take place there.
This discipline of kicking and kicking above the belt (with low Kick in semi-contact from the Juniors) opposes two opponents equipped with boxing gloves and slippers in expanded material.
As knockouts are prohibited, we are therefore in the precision, balance, speed, and variety of techniques and sequences.
Exterior and interior sweeps or imbalances carried out on the protective shoes are also authorized.
The age groups that will play for the title range from wards to veterans, with several weight categories, identical to those of judo.
