The football referee revealed the feelings in a special post for Purim: "Because I wanted so much I was afraid that they would notice that I was a woman. Today I know that this holiday for me is a milestone for understanding and self-fulfillment."

Football referee Sapir Berman, decided last year in a bold move to involve the country in the process of gender reassignment it is going through.

So on the occasion of Purim, Berman uploaded today (Friday) a private photo from her childhood years (1988), as a child disguised as Superman, in order to clarify how huge her past change is.

Berman wrote today on the networks: "Purim - a lovely holiday, full of color and full of imagination and lots of self-expression. For years I avoided dressing up. And the reason - every year I wanted to 'dress up' for a woman but because I wanted so much I was afraid they would notice I was a woman.

"I remember that every year on Purim I imagine how I walk on heels in Adlaide and how I speak about myself in female language in front of everyone, but again, that's who I am and I was very scared of it."
