The Red Star to continue its series, a highly anticipated derby in 93... Your football weekend in Ile-de-France

2022-03-18T11:50:40.965Z

In the Paris region, it's not just PSG in Ligue 1 and Paris FC in Ligue 2. There are also good matches in the i divisions.

It's almost spring, the return of sunny weekends and the end of muddy terrain.

"Le Parisien" invites you to take a tour of the football program in Ile-de-France, from National to National 3 via National 2 and D1 Women.

The poster: the Red Star wants to continue to blackmail Bauer

The year 2022 had started badly for the Red Star beaten in its Bauer stadium by Laval, by Chambly and hooked by Saint-Brieuc.

But Habib Beye's team remains on two fiery performances and attacking festivals against Annecy (3-0) and Bastia-Borgo (5-2) Undefeated for four games (10 points out of 12), the Red Star is out of the red zone and hopes to continue his good run against Avranches this Friday (7 p.m.) at Stade Bauer.

EXTEND

While @RedStarFC has been spectacular in recent weeks, this match against Avranches will be an opportunity to extend this positive series at Bauer!

After much trial and error, Beye finally seems to have found the right formula with a 4-3-3 and a better defensive base thanks to recruits from the January transfer window, Loïc Kouagba (ex-Dunkirk), Fodé Doucouré (on loan from Reims) and l Cameroonian international Blondon Meyapya (on loan from Angers), all holders in recent weeks.

In the middle Cheikh Ndoye roars again and, in front, Pape Meïssa Ba (

) is on fire.

The question: how did Poissy manage to recover?

Tenth in group A of National 2, Poissy, the 78 club which hosted five Ukrainian D2 footballers, came out of the red zone thanks to its two victories in a row against Plabennec (3-2) and Saint-Pryvé- Saint-Hilaire (3-2).

“We were affected and destabilized by the loss of our two best players, admits coach Walid Aïchour.

It took time but we were able to digest their departures, we moved on.

It was not easy to turn the page but now we are moving forward.

The click of this victory against Plabennec (3-2) who had been fleeing us for a long time did us good.

We want to follow up with good results.

We were in a negative spiral and the mental aspect made the difference.

This is when you shouldn't flinch and do a little more than what you usually do.

It was, however, good in content.

The mistake not to make was not to lower your head.

It was up to us to seek out this bit of success.

The match to go: Auber - Blanc-Mesnil

Second in National 3, Le Blanc-Mesnil can still hope to upset Racing in the race for the climb.

This is no longer the case for Aubervilliers, 7th and dropped out.

But Rachid Youcef's team is not used to giving up, so this 9-3 derby promises to be very competitive.

The Karman stadium in Aubervilliers is also one of the liveliest stadiums in Ile-de-France.

The show is also in the stands where it chambers and valves often but always in a good-natured way.

The club's number 1 supporter for many years and close to the staff, comedian and comedian Booder never misses a match when his schedule allows him.

But he is currently on tour and plays this Saturday in Romorantin, so he will not be able to be present for this derby.

The player to watch: Pape Meïssa Ba (Red Star)

It is one of the men in form of the Red Star, undefeated for four games (3 wins, 1 draw) and 2nd attack of the National (40 goals scored) who receives Avranches this Friday at the Bauer stadium.

Center-forward Pape Meïssa Ba, 24, sits at the top of the National scorer rankings with 14 goals.

He is just ahead of Thomas Robinet (Châteauroux) and Farid El-Khoumisti (Concarneau) who both scored last weekend, unlike him.

Nominated for the National Best Player Trophy in January and February, Pape Meïssa Ba is having the best season of his career.

Trained at AS Dakar Sacré-Coeur, the Senegalese arrived in France at Troyes (20 L2 games, 3 goals in February 2019).

To save playing time, he joined Red Star in February 2021. If he distinguished himself during the great adventure in the Coupe de France (8th final) with 3 goals in 4 games, notably against Lens (3 -2) and Lyon (1-1, 6-7 on pens), he had lacked efficiency in the league (3 goals), often finding the amounts.

But since August, he has shown that he is a complete, technical attacker, capable of scoring on long shots (3) and skilful in his duels against goalkeepers.

His former coach Vincent Bordot has often highlighted "his ability to move and his back to goal game which allows him to keep the ball".

If the Red Star has missed his season even if he will maintain himself, Pape Meïssa Ba can target him for the title of top scorer of National.

His performances could allow him to find the L2 even if he still has a year of contract at Red Star.

The info: the reform of the championships is underway

After the tightening of L1 and L2, the FFF confirmed on Wednesday, as we revealed on January 19, that its amateur championships will also be turned upside down.

The terms of implementation have yet to be defined, but many teams will be relegated at the end of the 2022-2023 financial year so that the reform can be put in place during the 2023-2024 season.

The National championship could become Ligue 3. The objective is to "reduce the number of national clubs and strengthen the structure of N2 and N3".

This will go through three axes: the passage of the N2 to three hens instead of 4, the return of an N3 as a real federal championship managed by the FFF (reduction in the number of hens to get closer to the old CFA2), reception professional reserve teams in a competition "of a level adapted to the training of young players".
