BEZIRKSLIGA OST VfB welcomes Siegsdorf
Forstinning – “We have to think game by game.
The day before yesterday was Zorneding and today is Siegsdorf.” VfB coach Ivica Coric wants to focus his players on the essentials: Focus on the current opponent and score points.
So that the targeted promotion to the national league works after the defeat at ESV Freilassing, which melted the lead.
VfB Forstinning can implement this requirement today, 2 p.m., against promoted TSV Siegsdorf in the Waldsportpark.
The hosts go into the encounter as favorites, even if the ease of the preliminary round seems ruined at the moment.
"We have to get out of it now and I'm in good spirits," the coach spreads optimism.
And also adjusts the relations somewhat.
"We played an outstanding preliminary round." And it's completely normal that things don't go optimally during a long season.
New signing David Kamm and captain Korbinian Hollerieth will be missing against Siegsdorf with minor injuries.
Coric had a lot of praise for Thursday's opponent: "Zorneding did really well." And challenged VfB far more than expected.
"We're too unstable during the game, that was also the case in Freilassing," Coric demands more consistency and stability.
Nevertheless, VfB is happy to take the entry into the "Finale dahoam" against SV Anzing with them.
On May 26, the district league team will host the finals of the district cup in Forstinning.
