Former Argentine rugby star Federico Martin Armborough was murdered this morning (Friday to Saturday) in the French capital, Paris.
According to reports in France, the 42-year-old actor was shot after an argument at a local restaurant in the heart of the city.
Armborough and a friend who was with him got into a heated argument with two other men.
A few minutes later they returned, and began firing on Armboro - and fled.
Armborough made 22 appearances for the national team, representing Argentina at the 2007 World Cup in France.
He won the French championship twice in the Biarritz uniform.
He lived in France, and planned to travel to visit his homeland in Argentina.
He is survived by his wife and three children.

The murder took place in the sixth district of Paris, which is considered one of the most beautiful in the city.
The restaurant is located on the banks of the Seine, on Avenue Saint-Germain, in a pleasant and not dangerous neighborhood.
Armborough and his friend ended their pastime at the restaurant, and began confronting other blazers.
They left it and moved to another place, until suddenly they came across two people with whom they had gotten entangled in the previous place, who came out towards them from a JEEP vehicle.
After another riot, 6 shots were fired at them.
Armborough collapsed, and died on the spot.
A large number of witnesses were present at the scene, and police are looking for three suspects in total, apparently of Albanian descent.
"He was a kind and generous man," teammate Julian Pirolon said.
