The Governorate Club topped the general ranking of the male and female teams participating in the Republic Clubs Cycling Championship, which was held on the Lattakia-Aleppo highway axis for three days.

In the team competitions against time in the male category for a distance of 30 km, the governorate team won first place, followed by Hama Police, then Barada Club, and in the female category for a distance of 20 km, the governorate won first place, followed by Harasta and then Lattakia.

In the singles championship against time for a distance of 20 km, he won the first three places in a row in the cubs category, Bakr Al-Numan and Badr Al-Din Al-Olabi, both from Harasta Club, and Muhammad Anas Hammadi from Hama Police.

In the junior category, Abdullah Janawer from Hama Police, Muhammad Badr Al-Salamat from Daraa and Ibrahim Al-Halabi from Hama Police, won the youth category Anas Al-Sharif and Uwais Kabol, both from the governorate, while Barada player Ahmed Al-Abdullah came in third place.

And in the women’s singles against time championship for a distance of 12 km, the first three places were won in a row in the cubs category, Sidra Kaabour from Hama Police, Raghad Zaarour from Tartous and Roa’a Hawari from the governorate, Jodi Al-Jabban from Harasta, Raghad Abu Hasna from the governorate, Hala Al-Zahr from Harasta, and the young women’s category Fatima Al-Zahra Shawk. And Sandy Dergham, both from the Governorate Club, and Yara Ismail from the Hama Police.

In the women’s category under 23 years, Miran Al-Fares won first place, followed by Marah Khader, both from Barada, and Maha Shamlas from Lattakia in third place.

In the general singles championship for males for a distance of 40 km, he won the first three places, respectively, in the youth category, Ahmed Abdullah from Barada Club, Anas Al-Sharif from the governorate, Ibrahim Zakaria from Hama Police, and in the junior category Ibrahim Al-Halabi and Ibrahim Janawer, both from Hama Police, Muhammad Nour Al-Hammadi, and Al-Ashbal Bakr Al-Numan from Harasta and Daniel Alloush from Tartous and Badr al-Din al-Aali from Harasta.

Miran Al-Fares and Marah Khudhair, both from Barada and Maha Shamlas from Lattakia, won the first three places in the women's singles championship for a distance of 25 km in the women's category under 23 years.
