As you may recall, in early February, Obermars admitted that for a long time he approached women who worked for Ajax with messages that "crossed the border", when it later became clear that he had sent them pictures of his penis and at least six different facts had been harassed by him.

A day after his departure, it was reported that in the club's corridors, Obermars was called "the perverted uncle" because of his inappropriate remarks towards women in the organization, in which a "sexist culture" developed and "stereotypical jokes were naturally thrown into the air."

During Obermars' tenure as Ajax sporting director, the team won four championships, two trophies and one Super Cup.
