According to Dutch website ED, new professional manager Marcel Brands thinks the right man for the coaching job is none other than former striker Rod van Nistelrooy, who currently coaches the reserve team of the team that plays in the sub-league.

Brands wants an experienced assistant coach for Van Nistelrooy, while the one who may enter this box is former Maccabi Haifa coach Fred Rotten.

It is not yet clear whether the two will agree to the offer, although it has been claimed that Rotten is interested in the position, but in the Netherlands it has been reported that with Rotten by his side, Van Nistelrooy will feel comfortable making the move forward to the senior team.
