Atalanta climbed to fifth place in Serie A yesterday (Sunday) with a 0-1 win over Bologna but the show was stolen by 18-year-old Mustafa Sisa, who scored the winning goal in his Serie A debut.
The young Guinea player came off the bench to replace Luis Muriel at Dalara Stadium during the game against Bologna.
He was on the field for just 17 minutes when he collected Mario Peshalich's delivery and kicked to the bottom corner.
The story of Sisa is amazing.
Until about a month ago, he still played amateur football for a refugee team in the eighth league in Italy.
On February 22, the Atlanta talent hunters signed him at the club's youth academy after spotting him in a game of the amateur refugee group ASD Rinascita Refugees in a friendly match against Lecce from Serie B. This club is made up entirely of foreign players seeking asylum in Italy and is actually a Seconda player. The eighth of the Italian football leagues.

Sisa came to the team from Bergamo and contributed immediately, scoring twice in his debut in the club's youth team, in a 1: 3 victory over Milan.
He also scored the 0-1 victory over Napoli on 9 March.
The boy caught the eye of coach Jan Piero Gasparini, who called him up for the Atlanta team, in the midst of an injury crisis in the striker position when only Muriel is fit.
Yesterday Sisa made his debut in Serie A, moving from the eighth tier to the summit of Italian football in less than a month - and scored the winning goal against Bologna in the 82nd minute.

"It was important to win tonight, I'm very happy for Atlanta and for Sisa because he has already stabilized really well during training," team player Smell Demirel said after the game.
"He deserved to score that goal, and from the next game he will be even more successful."
Atalanta is currently in fifth place in the league with a missing game and will play against RB Leipzig in the quarterfinals of the Europa League after the national team break.
