Robert Lewandowski has still not extended his contract with FC Bayern.

Liverpool FC and Jürgen Klopp are now reportedly also getting involved in courting the Munich superstar.

And of course Robert Lewandowski.

FC Bayern is not progressing with the contract talks.

All four cornerstones only have a contract until the summer of 2023. And all four top performers have still not extended on Säbener Straße in Munich*.

Even more: Last week, FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann reported problems in the negotiations with Lewandowski about a possible extension of the fruitful cooperation.

It is the personnel par excellence at the Bundesliga giants*.

After all, as of March 21, the Polish super striker has scored 124 competitive goals in the past two and a half years.

And so the 33-year-old had a significant share in the titles of the German Bundesliga record champions*.

But: will he wear the shirt of another club from the summer?

The name Real Madrid keeps coming up in the transfer rumours.

But according to various reports, there are also other interested parties from Europe's elite, which is not surprising given Lewandowski's footballing quality.

Now Liverpool FC is said to be courting the accurate attacker.

A handsome sum, considering that Bayern only have the chance of a high severance payment this summer.

And instead run the risk that Lewandowski could go on a free transfer in the summer.

Just like David Alaba did before.

And just like Niklas Süle, who joins Borussia Dortmund*, will soon do.

An argument for LFC: Under coach Jürgen Klopp, Lewandowski developed into a top striker at BVB between 2010 and 2014.

Together they won the German Championship twice and the DFB Cup and the national Supercup once each.

Dortmund was also under Klopp in 2013 and with Lewandowski in the Champions League final*, which was lost 2-1 in London (of all places) against Bayern Munich.
