The Syrian national team player for special sports, Muhammad Khaled Al-Mohammed, booked the qualification card to the Asian Masters after achieving the gold medal in the throwing competition in the 13th Fazza International Athletics Championships for People of Determination, which is currently being held in the Emirate of Dubai with the participation of 46 countries.
Al-Mohammed scored fourteen meters and thirteen centimeters in the F57 class to outperform all his peers, achieving the gold medal in the competition, and Alaa Abdel Salam won the gold medal by throwing the javelin according to his F53 classification.
The delegation of our team included the general administrator Sakhr Al-Jumaa, coaches Shula Dermush and Saleh Sateef, and the players Mohamed Khaled Al-Mohammed and Alaa Abdel-Salam, in addition to Wassim Rizk and Abdel Hakim Bakr by throwing the iron ball, Ali Al-Asaad and Shawq Alloush in the blind category for discus throwing.
