The Los Angeles Lakers have not experienced a good season so far, to say the least.
But it's hard to argue with LeBron James recording numbers reminiscent of his best seasons in Cleveland, the same Cleveland he won this morning on his own with a great 38-point stat line and a triple-double 105 in his career that includes 12 assists and 11 rebounds.
LeBron, who had already visited Cleveland in the All-Star about a month ago, returned to the hall where he had been the undisputed idol for years and led LA to 120: 131 against the Cubs, who this season hold a much better balance than LeBron and his teammates (31:41 vs. 41:31 ).

Anyone who thought LeBron was frustrated by the bad times of his team, who are struggling tooth and nail to get into the play-in in the West, is probably wrong.

But LeBron's saying is a bit odd considering that the Lakers are only ninth in the West with a one-game advantage over New Orleans and three games over San Antonio, with 10 games left until the end of the regular season.

LeBron, whose resume already has four championships (two with Miami, one with Cleveland and one with the Lakers), was asked how he finds in play no lofty goal and said: "I don't really care what the narrative is around our team. But despite the optimism that LeBron and his coach are conveying, the Lakers are not in a simple situation at all, certainly if Anthony Davis does not return to play in the regular season.
Six of the ten games left for the Lakers will be away and its home games will be against Philadelphia and Denver Holdings, among others.
"I'm going to play with a lot of passion, a lot of energy and give my teammates what they deserve," LeBron added, "We'll do what needs to be done, hoping I don't get injured. "That's important. We give everything on the floor and control what we can control. What is not in our control, does not worry us."
