Paulo Dybala and Juventus go their separate ways.

Where does the Argentinian attacking artist end up now?

He was once also traded at FC Bayern.

Munich – For Karl-Heinz Rummenigge he was a dream player for a long time.

Now he's on the market for free!

We're talking about Paulo Dybala, a figurehead of Juventus Turin for years.

The Argentine will leave the Old Lady at the end of the season.

The question is: where to?

As Juve managing director Maurizio Arrivabene told several Italian media on Monday, the club will not offer the 28-year-old, whose working paper expires in June, a new contract.

Paulo Dybala leaves Juventus: transfer to Bayern Munich an issue?

"With the signing of Vlahovic, his position was no longer that crucial.

That's why we decided not to extend the contract," Arrivabene was quoted as saying.

Dybala has been at Juve since 2015 and was appointed vice-captain earlier this season.

Dybala has scored 13 goals in 29 games this season in all competitions, but has also missed many games due to various muscle injuries.

In January, the Bianconeri sold Dusan Vlahovic from AC Fiorentina for 70 million euros. The Serb is currently the top scorer in Serie A with 21 goals.

As reported by the Gazetta dello Sport, several clubs have already expressed their interest in Dybala, including Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.

And the Bavarians?

They'll probably look elsewhere.

FC Bayern Munich: Interest in Paulo Dybala has probably finally expired

In recent years, there have been a number of rumors surrounding Dybala's possible signing.

The former boss Rummenigge was considered a big fan - the offensive artist never ended up in Munich.

Maybe now that he's available on a free transfer?

It is very unlikely that sports director Hasan Salihamidzic will pick up the phone and call the star player of his former club.

The problem that Rummenigge once described himself: "His performance is too variable." In addition, Dybala is prone to injury and used to a high salary.

Since it was extended in 2017, he has collected around seven million euros a year, and in October 2021 there was said to have been an agreement with Juve that they wanted to extend the contract that expires in 2022 - at that time there was talk of net earnings of eight million euros including bonus payments .

Those responsible have now decided to take the offer off the table.

Paulo Dybala: Farewell to Turin sealed – there is no place at Bayern Munich

Fluctuating performance, susceptibility to injury, a high salary and - this is always the case with free transfers - a lavish bonus: all of these are reasons for FC Bayern not to get into Dybala poker in the first place.

Especially since his position (hanging top, attacking midfield) is played in Munich by a certain Thomas Müller, who is considered irreplaceable.

With Jamal Musiala, his successor is already in the starting blocks.

Dybala at Bayern?

Even in the post-Rummenigge era there is virtually no chance of this transfer.
