Paralympic wrestler Alexander Alexeinko won a bronze medal today (Thursday) in the World Cup round held in Dubai.
Alexeinko, a member of Ilan Haifa, who trains with Orr Ketab and Semyon Menachimov, the top for a distance of 9.57 meters.
First place went to an athlete from Colombia who hit a distance of 10.57 meters.
In 2014, Alexinko was the European champion and fourth in the world in discus throw in the seating category.
About five years ago he immigrated to Israel from Ukraine.
In 2021 he represented Israel at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
Yair Nizer, who is competing in the same category as Alexeinko, also from Ilan Haifa and also a trainee of a reporter and Menachimov, came in fourth place after hitting a distance of 9.17 meters.
