The Portuguese national team defeated its Turkish counterpart 3-1 in the match that brought them together this evening in the semi-finals of the third track of the European play-off that qualifies for the FIFA World Cup.
Portugal's goals were scored by Otavio, Diogo Gota and Mateos Nunes in the 15th, 42nd and 94th minutes, respectively, while Burak Yalmaz scored Turkey's goal in the 65th minute.
On the 29th of this month, the Portuguese national team will face North Macedonia, who achieved a resounding surprise by eliminating Italy with a goal free of charge.
