From SV Linx to the French national team – Jonathan Clauss' insane rise
From 2013 to 2015 he is under contract with SV Linx.
At that time, the club played in the Südbaden association league.
The opponents were called FC Denzlingen or SV Stadelhofen.
Today Clauss plays in a team with Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappé.
After his time in Linx, the midfielder is initially drawn to his home country of France.
In 2018, however, he dared to return to Germany and switched to the then second division club Arminia Bielefeld.
The Frenchman earned himself a regular place with the East Westphalians straight away.
Jonathan Clauss for the first time in the French national team
In 65 competitive games, Clauss scored eight goals and prepared 13 more goals.
The reward: in 2020, the winger will be signed by the French first division club RC Lens.
Here, too, he shows his class directly.
His career highlight so far followed a few days ago when the French national coach Didier Deschamps nominated him for the Équipe Tricolore for the first time.
His teammates from RC Lens celebrated Jonathan Clauss accordingly – as a video on Twitter shows.
