Arrival of the fifth:
5 - 6 - 13 - 1 - 8
Disputed on very soft ground, the Sunday quinté, labeled Listed, took place at the Auteuil racecourse.
This event pitted fourteen hurdlers, all 4 years old, against each other on the 3,600m course.
Author of a convincing return race on March 6 in a similar field,
Tempo du Mathan
(n° 5) won this race after a close finish.
Quickly close to the leaders, the representative of Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé followed the entire course freely before placing an excellent thrust and winning in the last meters to offer a first quinté to his jockey, Tristan Lemagnen: "I I was a little more patient than when he resumed, says the latter.
He's a jumper that I really like.
He has a real acceleration to finish.
I think he should be even better in the steeplechase.

After a victorious comeback in Angers,
Iban Roque
(n°6) behaved remarkably for his first steps on the Mortemart hill.
Located behind the leader, he produced a nice acceleration and showed courage, narrowly failing for success.
Third,
Idéal du Chenet
(n°13) made a convincing reappearance, especially since he had not been seen since November.
Up in sixth position, he held his own until the end.
Fourth,
Mister Vision
(n° 1) held his game well despite his 70 kg while
Iratzederrea
(n° 8) completed the finish.
Kevin Romain indicated the trifecta in the order in seven horses.
