After leading Hapoel Holon to the quarterfinals of the FIBA Champions League, Adam Smith continued tonight (Monday) in his wonderful time and provided a single concert at 77:99 against Hapoel Tel Aviv in a final game in the basketball Premier League. The guard equaled the season record in the league of Brion Allen from Hapoel Eilat (who did so in two overtimes) with 38 points, scored 9 threes (only one three-pointer from Doron Jamchi's all-time record) and left no chance for the guest, who will fight for her place in the top house in the final round against Hapoel Galil Elyon.
After a close opening and good ability from Idan Zalmanson, who was the only one to function in red in the first half, the host ran away with a 0:15 run.
Danny Franco's side tried to close the gap, but Guy Goodes' players got nervous after the defeat to the Upper Galilee and ran away thanks to another three-pointer.
Zalmanson, JP Tokoto and Raz Adam made comeback votes, but Smith woke up with eight straight points and decided the fate of the game.
