When Canada qualifies for the World Cup, Alphonso Davies is unstoppable.

The Bayern star bursts into tears in front of the camera.

Munich/Toronto – What a World Cup title is for Germany is a World Cup participation for Canada.

Only for the second time in history have the North Americans qualified for a World Cup - and without their superstar Alphonso Davies*.

In the final phase, he whipped his team forward from home in the live stream on "Twitch".

After Junior Hoilett made it 3-0 in the 83rd minute, emotions overwhelmed him, he screamed and danced through his apartment.

At the final whistle he fell to the ground and cried.

A flood of congratulations followed over the stream, his girlfriend Jordyn Huitema later congratulated him on Instagram *: "You deserve it, my darling".

Nothing should stand in the way of Davie's participation in the finals in Qatar later this year if he stays healthy.

He could already make his comeback after the international break against SC Freiburg.

At the latest in the Champions League quarter-finals against FC Villarreal, FC Bayern can most likely rely on Leon Goretzka again.
