The DFB team started the 2022 World Cup with a 2-0 victory. However, the game against Israel in Sinsheim is now overshadowed by a scandal.

Sinsheim – The 2022 World Cup started with a win for Hansi Flick’s German national team.

In the friendly against Israel, the team won 2-0*, ex-Bayern coach Flick was able to claim his eighth win in eight games.

But as the portal reports, a 28-year-old man was taken away by security forces during the season.

It is said that the man is said to have clearly shown the Hitler salute in the stands.

It is also said that the Mannheim police confirmed the incident after the young man could be identified using video recordings.

The spectator's scandalous action can now lead to severe consequences.

In Germany, the Hitler salute is punished with either a fine or imprisonment. A first official statement from the police is expected on Monday.
