Ghana reached the World Cup finals by drawing 1-1 with its host Nigeria today, in the second leg of the qualifying round for the 2022 World Cup.
The Ghanaian national team drew at home last Friday without goals and benefited today from the away-scoring base.
Thomas Partey advanced for Ghana in the tenth minute, while William Ekong scored the equalizer for Nigeria in the 22nd minute from a penalty kick.
