Merkur CUP: Preliminary round drawn in Ebersberg - Venues are Poing and Markt Schwaben

The anticipation of this year's Merkur CUP is growing.

The preliminary rounds for the Merkur CUP have been drawn.

The first games of the Merkur CUP will be played in Poing and Markt Schwaben on April 3rd.

District of Ebersberg

- In a week it will be serious.

Then the E-Junior footballers from the district of Ebersberg will take part in the Merkur CUP 2022.

The preliminary rounds have now been drawn and the venues have been determined.

The youth leaders of SpVgg Markt Schwabener Au and TSV Poing made themselves available as organizers of two groups each.

The kick-off will be in the Poinger sports center at 10 a.m., while the kick-off whistle will sound at 2 p.m. in the sports park on the Bürgermeister-Haller-Weg in Markt Schwaben.

15 clubs have registered for the 28th edition of the world's largest U11 youth tournament.

Christos Sofis acts as game director.

Eight Ebersberg teams will then still be in the race and thus "On the Road to Haching", where the grand final of the boys' and girls' teams is to take place on July 16th.

"The signs are looking better than in the past two years," emphasized Merkur CUP general manager Uwe Vaders, who "finally sees light again at the end of the corona-related tunnel" for the nine- and ten-year-old young footballers.

Due to the tight schedule this year, which is mainly due to the school holidays at Easter and Pentecost, the Merkur CUP not only had to start very early, but Mother's Day in the Ebersberg (04) game district is no longer free of games.

Because the Merkur CUP district final of the top eight is scheduled for Sunday, May 8th.

Group B: ASV Glonn, TSV Steinhoering and SC Baldham-Vaterstetten.

Group D: TSV Poing, TSV Aßling, TSV Pliening/Landsham, TSV Ebersberg.
