Maccabi Tel Aviv continues its successful period and thanks to tonight's (Tuesday) victory in Athens 83:95 over Panathinaikos, it came so close to a distance of only one victory from securing a place in the Euroleague playoffs.
On Thursday, Avi Even and his players will host Wheelerban and a victory over the French team will arrange for the Yellows the prestigious ticket to the last eight.
After that, Maccabi Tel Aviv will have two games left - against Barcelona (away) and Fenerbahce (home).
If the Israeli champions win both of these games, or at least one of them, they will be able to improve their position in the table at the end of the regular season and avoid a difficult series against Barcelona or Real Madrid.
