Washington trains ahead of game against Chicago (Washington Wizards Official Twitter)

Danny Abdia is planning a gesture of solidarity with the residents of Israel against the background of the wave of terrorist attacks in the past week.

After Washington's 107: 94 loss to Chicago tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday), the young forward said he will appear for the next game against Orlando Wednesday-Thursday, with the caption "Am Yisrael Chai" on his shoes.

"I'm very sad to hear about what's going on in the country. There's bigger things than basketball and it's hard for me now, with how much I play in the NBA and try to represent us," Abdia said after scoring 14 points and dropping 8 rebounds per game.

"My friends and family in Israel, I watch the news almost every day, and my heart is with the families and with the people of Israel. We hope it will end as soon as possible. We will not get into politics, but in the meantime I send love and a hug."

As for the game itself, Abdia continued to show improved ability.

He finished with 6 of 10 from the field including 2 of 5 of the three, also contributed 3 assists - one of them especially nice behind the back to Roy Hachimura - and presented excellent defense at times on Damar Druzen,

"Overall, I've been feeling a lot better lately," says Abdia.

"Defensively, I will not be perfect and I will not stop the stars of the opponent completely, because after all these are Allstars, super players, but I will always be there to make life difficult for them, to make them take more challenging shots."

As mentioned, Abdia’s delivery behind the back to Hachimura was one of the beautiful moments in the game.

"I like to hand over the ball, and when I am more relaxed I will have more moments like this. They will come, and a lot," said the Israeli.

"It was pretty easy. The Chicago player did not expect such a delivery, so it worked. It would not always be so brilliant, but I try to make my sparkling dedications effective as well."

Abdia hopes to continue to improve as well as the executor during pick and roll moves.

"I still have a lot to learn in pick and roll, but I feel it's getting better and I hope to specialize in this field as time goes on. I'm gaining confidence and growing up, and I wish it would continue like this my whole career."

Abdia, who scored in double digits in four games in a row, also squeezed compliments from the local media.

Wizards reporter Chris Miller said: "Danny deserves a lot of credit for the effort he made to keep one of the best players in the NBA. There was one move where Danny showed special maturity. He knew Damar often made shooting mistakes, so he stayed put, was not tempted Try to block him and make him fall to the floor and ask for a break. Those little things, you see his improvement in them. Danny has an advantage over the rest of Washington's youngsters. They will all be rotation players next season, but Danny has something special because he has the right size. Along with the ability to serve as both a playmaker and a stopwatch. "
