Israel's youth team may reach the European Championship through the playoffs, but the performances against Poland and Germany have given a lot of hope for the future of Israeli football, because between four and six players from the young team will be part of the senior team.
"I'm sure a lot of people who saw these games came out very encouraging," said coach Alon Hazan. "The hard work has brought him. We also have an excellent youth team, and the future of Israeli football is very encouraging."

Defender Ziv Morgan, who played yesterday as a stopper due to Gil Cohen's injury, commented on the loss to Germany and said: "Obviously there is disappointment from the loss because we were better than the Germans. "We had to take more advantage of our opportunities, but we have nothing to cry about, we gave everything, and we will come to the two remaining games to take the points. We did not fall from Germany by any parameter. There was one second of lack of concentration, where we absorbed and that made the difference."
Morgan commented that the team is made up of players with a lot of experience and said: "It is very significant that most players play in teams. The players come with confidence to the team after Premier League games and the players here are no longer Premier League players but top players in their teams. This is our advantage."
