Summary: Senegal - Egypt 0: 1 (Senegal advanced to the World Cup after a penalty shootout) (Sport 1)
Egypt is in turmoil after last night's (Tuesday) loss to Senegal on penalties, for which the Pharaohs did not advance to the 2022 World Cup.
Every Egyptian kicker dazzled and the Pharaohs missed three out of four kicks - including your kick Muhammad Salah to the sky.
Senegal, who won 0: 1 at the end of 120 minutes and forced 1: 1 in total, defeated their opponent 1: 3 in a duel from the penalty spot and qualified for Qatar.
The Egyptian Football Association was furious and said the laser was just the tip of the iceberg.
"Our team was a victim of ongoing racism throughout the game, with offensive signs in the stands against it and especially against Muhammad Salah. The crowd threw bottles and stones during the warm-up and even before that the bus was killed, windows smashed and some occupants injured."
The association also released videos and photos as proof.
On the sidelines of the storm, coach Carlos Quiros has announced that he is ending his role as coach of the Egyptian national team after failing to march it to the World Cup.
"It's my time to leave. My dream was to march Egypt to the World Cup, but Senegal was the one who qualified," said the Portuguese, "the game is over and unfortunately we are on the losing side. There is not much to say."
