TSV Allershausen suffered a deserved 1-0 defeat at FC Eitting.
Allershausen
- In the catch-up game of the 17th round, the hosts were superior from the start and pushed the guests, who had traveled with a skeleton team, onto the defensive.
Only FC Eitting had good chances.
So Maximilian Jäkel only hit the bar from 16 meters (20th).
That saved again for Allershausen before the break when Eitting's Christoph Härtl headed in a nice header to the timbers (28').
Despite the overwhelming superiority of the FCE, it was 0-0 at the break.
In the second round it went on like this.
After a free kick from Härtl, the ball came to Florian Huber, who hit the post from a tight angle (67').
Just as Eitting's attacking whirlwind threatened to flag and the guests were hoping for a draw, the hosts managed to make the decision.
Florian Huber tackled a cross from the right and steered the ball past TSV keeper Andreas Ettl into the goal (74').
"Today was really decent in terms of fighting," said TSV trainer Michael Stiller of his team: "We come on the gums and have no people due to Corona and injuries.
Then you can just throw everything in here and that just wasn't enough today.
I can't blame the team for that.
The win for Eitting was deserved.”
