Washington trains ahead of game against Chicago (Washington Wizards Official Twitter)

Danny Abdia continues to be one of Washington's most prominent bright spots in the final straight of the season - even when the team loses.

Tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday) the Wizards stopped after two straight wins as they surrendered 107: 94 to Chicago at home, while an encouraging game for the Israeli forward.

Abdia recorded his fourth straight game (and seventh in the last nine games) with double digits in the points column, scoring 14 (6 of 10 from the field, 2 of 5 from three) alongside 8 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, a block and two turnovers in 29 minutes.

Along with impressive defenses at times on the Bulls ’backline stars, Abdia continued to show both confidence and creativity on the offensive side as well, with the highlight of the night for him coming with a handsome delivery behind the back to Roy Hachimura in the final quarter.

Either way, it was not enough for the Wizards to go down to a 43:32 balance, and allowed the Bulls who owed the win to improve the balance to 32:44 which brings them closer to securing a place in the playoffs.

The first half was marked by Nikola Wojciech, who reached 20 points in the first two quarters and dominated the personal matchup against Kristaps Forzingis.

But if in the first two quarters Washington managed to narrow the steps of Damar Drusen, thanks in part to Abdia's good personal defense, in the second half the trend changed, and the outstanding shooting guard took over the game.

In the last two quarters he scored 23 with 10 of 15 from the field, en route to a game of 32 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and an escape in the final quarter that ended in 21:32 to the Bulls.

Nikola Wojciech added 27, while Zac Lavin settled for 14 in the winning ranks.

The Wizards, on the other hand, got a season-high record from Roy Hachimura who started the game five in a row for the sixth time in light of Kyle Kozma's injury (who will not return in the next game, which will guarantee him and Avdia more minutes) and finished with 21. Cantabius Caldwell Pop contributed 20 to the loser Less than 24 hours when you host the weak Orlando.
