A big derby in National, a great duel in women's D1... your football weekend in Ile-de-France

In the Paris region, it's not just PSG in Ligue 1 and Paris FC in Ligue 2. There are also good matches in the i divisions.

With National 2 and National 3 taking a break, the football program will be a little lighter on Saturday and Sunday.

But it will be marked by two derbies with Red Star-Créteil in National and Paris FC-PSG in D1 Arkema.

The poster: Red Star-Créteil

Admittedly, the two former residents of L2 missed their season.

But the derbies between Red Star and Créteil are always enticing.

In the past, they have often been peppered with little stories or surrounded by little tensions.

On the first leg, Créteil won 1-0.

In recent weeks, both teams have been doing much better.

Especially the Red Star which remains undefeated for six games (4 wins, 2 draws).

The maintenance is now acquired.

Habib Beye seems to have finally found the right formula.

He relaunched Ludovic Butelle in the cage and he can rely on a real defensive base thanks to the transfer window recruits (Doucouré, Kouagba, Meyapya).

In the middle, Cheikh Ndoye has found a second youth and, in front, Papa Meissa Ba is a hit.

With 15 goals, he leads the scorers of National.

Still deprived of Fantamady Diarra, Créteil can also count on a fit scorer, Kevin Farade (10 goals).

With five points taken in three games, the Cristoliens have finally started a positive series.

Créteil, 15th, came back to three points from Sète, the first non-relegation.

Achieving a good result on the ground from Bauer would be important accountingally and psychologically.

The question: Will Créteil confirm its start?

“It's always important not to concede, that's what we've been lacking lately.

We have found the right balance between being able to score goals, create chances and not concede any.

Something we did well in the last two games.

The Red Star are a confident side that have gone six games unbeaten.

It's an important, enticing derby.

We will do everything to look good.

The hard blow: the injury of Stéphane Sparagna

The former OM defender, launched in L1 in 2014 by Bielsa had managed to revive well at Red Star after complicated seasons in Portugal.

But his career will experience a new big setback.

Stéphane Sparagna suffered a ruptured left anterior cruciate ligament and a minimal meniscus injury last week in training.

He will be operated on April 21.

The stadium to go to: Charléty for a promising derby

Next season, the girls of Paris FC will play all their matches at the Charléty stadium, for the moment reserved only for big posters.

The derby against PSG on Sunday at the very unusual time of 12:45 p.m. is one of them.

The record of 4,224 spectators of December 12 against Lyon could be beaten.

Between the 2nd and 3rd of D1 women, it's a promising match.

Les Parisiennes have won their 6 league games in 2022 and hope to confirm their new status against PSG, which qualified on Wednesday after suspense for the Champions League semi-finals against Bayern.

A European Cup that Paris FC hopes to reach next season for the first time since 2013 (it was under the name of Juvisy).

A big blow against PSG would allow him to consolidate his 3rd qualifying place for this Champions League.

Player to watch: Mathilde Bourdieu

She is one of the three nominated for the D1 Arkema best player of the month trophy.

After a white season (cruciate ligament rupture), Mathilde Bourdieu, 22, has found a high level.

The Paris FC striker, a physio student, remains on four goals scored in her last three games against Guingamp, Fleury (doubled) and Reims.
